Mike is a freelance trainer/facilitator/consultant/coach who is passionate about releasing potential through learning and development. Mike has delivered training across London, the UK and internationally using a range of interactive training techniques which build upon adult learning, brain-friendly and accelerated learning principles.
Since establishing a charity in Wales, he’s mainly worked in the voluntary sector in health/social care (including HIV, mental health and dementia) in various management/senior management roles.

Mike has been involved in LGBT+ and HIV activism for 30+ years, including delivering the first LGBT+ awareness training for South Wales Police. Mike and his colleague Sally Knocker were independent evaluators for the Age UK LGBT+ project Opening Doors; developed a course ‘Meeting the Care Needs of older LGBT+ people and facilitated the Rainbow Café for LGBT+ people with dementia and their carers.
A former actor, Mike’s hobbies include the theatre and arts, travel, reading, DIY/Gardening, and trying to get his two cocker spaniels to remain calm!!!
