Our Partners

NAPA is committed to developing effective partnerships. We work collaboratively with many partners across the voluntary, statutory, and private sector.

We would like to thank all the people and organisations who work with NAPA, without whom our work would not be possible.

Our Partner Charter:

NAPA are committed to finding creative ways to support the sector to prioritise wellbeing.

This charter outlines our commitment to developing creative approaches that support the provision of meaningful activity and engagement and are consistent with our values.

Together we can find creative approaches to wellbeing, drawing on our joint expertise and resources to identify and seek solutions to the challenges faced by care services and activity providers.

Donations and partnerships help resource our work and improve and expand our services enabling people to live contented, creative, and connected lives.

Our Partnership Principles:

NAPA applies the following principles when developing partnerships:

We invite partnerships with organisations that share our vision and mission.

Our vision is: A UK where activity and engagement is an integral part of care provision, where people live content, creative and connected lives.

Our mission is:  To advance the role of the Activity Provider by offering professional development opportunities that enhance knowledge, skills, and confidence.

  1. We offer good quality services that provide value for money and make a difference to individual’s lives.
  2. We ensure that NAPA’s policy and championing role is not compromised by any partnership.
  3. We work with NAPA’s partners to listen and respond to comments and suggestions from our members.
  4. We use any income we generate to fund the charity’s work.

Our partners make a significant difference to our work, and we would like to say a huge thank you to all the organisations that have chosen to work with us.

Funds raised from partnership work is critical to our financial stability, helping to ensure that appropriate resources, learning opportunities, advice, information, and inspiration are accessible for all those involved in providing activity and engagement.

Live Music Now are delighted to work closely with our friends at NAPA and consider them to be important valuable partners in our national strategic programme, bringing live music to people living in care homes for older people and our advocacy work raising the understanding and value of music in making care homes happier places to live and work.

NAPA play a vital role in the ASC ensuring that hard-working teams are able to access high quality resources and workforce development, bringing a wide variety of stimulating creative activities and initiatives into the lives of the people they support. This is of enormous benefit the people who live in the homes as well as the workforce and the settings themselves, supporting wellbeing, creating and strengthening communities mad enhancing quality of life.

Their team, including the Arts in Care Home team bring us valuable complementary, distinct knowledge, skill and expertise, offering us advice and improving our understanding of the needs and priorities of people in care homes, both staff teams and residents, as well as the ASC sector itself.

They are always responsive and wiling to get involved with and support our initiatives, such as Live Music in Care (formerly A Choir In Every Care Home) and the Musical Care Task Force. They also provide a means for us to communicate our messages and bring our offer to their membership across the country. The value of this has been particularly acute during the very challenging experience of living through the Covid-19 Pandemic, and illustrated in the Keeping the Music Going Initiative, the In Tune With Covid Paper on singing and the 2021 Arts in Care Homes Day online LMN concert.
